Research Day 2021 Abstract Submission Form

Research Day 2021 abstract submissions are now web-based! All abstracts require review and approval from faculty mentors prior to submission. Abstracts, including background, methods, results, and conclusions, should be reviewed and approved by mentors using the  “PHHP RD 21 Abstract & Mentor Review Form.” This signed form is a required upload during the web submission process. Abstracts must be submitted by Friday December 18 by 12:00pm ET.

Important Memo: Abstract Judging Update

Each abstract will be reviewed and scored by 2-3 PHHP faculty volunteers, using competitive judging guidelines. Reviewers will include faculty both internal and external to your department/program in order to provide a robust review process during Research Day (your mentor will NOT judge your abstract). The deadline to submit abstracts is December 15, 2021 by 11:59pm
  • Limit one (1) submission per presenting author
  • Choose from the selections below. More than one can be chosen, if applicable.
  • Please select which department you are completing your postdoctoral fellowship
  • Please include the name of your primary mentor
  • Were there any UF resources utilized during this research? If so, describe here. Examples include training grants (specify grant number/PI), CTSI grant funding, or if using HealthStreet data.
  • Please list ALL authors. 1) Put presenting author first 2) List each additional co-author, including your mentor, using MLA format e.g.: Kirby AV, Terrill AL, Schwartz A, Henderson J, Whitaker BN, Kramer J.
  • Please put your abstract here. Should include the BACKGROUND, METHODS, RESULTS, and CONCLUSION Sections. This should not exceed 300 words. Public Health/Health Professions relevance should also be provided within 1-2 sentences (not included in word count).
  • Please type 2-3 keywords that describe your research here. This will help us categorize your presentation group on the day of Research Day.
