Hilton University of Florida Conference Center

The Hilton University of Florida Conference Center (Conference Center) is located on the Southwest corner of the University of Florida campus. The Conference Center was built in 2000 and remains the area’s premier full-service hotel with 248 deluxe rooms, including three luxury suites and 25,000 square feet of meeting space. Each of the conference center’s thirteen meeting rooms has access to the Internet-2 (I2) network. This connection gives University-related guests with I2 access the ability to interact with other I2 facilities in applications like telemedicine, digital libraries, multicasting, virtual laboratories, and teleconferencing using a non-compressed audio/video stream enabling real-time interaction and discussion. Each conference room and guest room is also wired for traditional Internet and World Wide Web access via a dedicated fiber-optic T1 line. This access is available to all guests and requires a 10/100-base-T Ethernet port. Each guestroom has two dedicated telephone lines, complete with separate analog data ports providing dial-up Internet access for its guests without Ethernet connections. As the region’s leading conference facility, the center combines an outstanding meeting environment with accommodations and cuisine that reflect warm Southern hospitality. The hotel is a certified IACC conference center and has won numerous awards for guest service and customer satisfaction. The Hilton University of Florida Conference Center accommodations include non-smoking, smoking and handicap accessible rooms.
