The College of Public Health &Health Professions (PHHP) is located in the new Health Professions, Nursing, & Pharmacy (HPNP) building, which was completed in 2003. The PHHP classroom space is comprised of 11 classrooms, 4 lecture halls, 1 auditorium, and 1 distance room, a total of 7,783 square feet. Teaching Labs provide Audio/Visual (A/V) services in the HPNP building, and on-site staffs are capable of diagnosing and repairing common A/V problems quickly. They have a cache of commonly used equipment readily available to address A/V needs not met by the equipment already in the classrooms. Standard equipment in each classroom includes a podium and computer access to the web and for PowerPoint presentations, and additional A/V equipment (projectors, TV/Video, etc.) can be requested. The Health Science Center has an Access Grid node in rooms C1-11 in the Communicore Building. This facility uses Internet2 technology to create a collaborative video interaction with multiple remote sites. There is no charge to use the node and conferences are scheduled through the Teaching Labs. The UF HSC is planning to expand its Access Grid capability by providing switching mechanisms to allow other video-equipped rooms to participate in Access Grid events. Several conference/meeting rooms are available in the Public Health and Health Professions Research Complex (see below) that are available for use by any PHHP faculty/laboratory. The rooms are scheduled using Outlook software. There are 2 large conference rooms with the capacity to hold 20-25 individual. These conference rooms come equipped with a projection screen, whiteboard, network port, and conference calling capability.  Additional office space can be allocated with approval from the Dean of the College of PHHP.

As previously mentioned, the College of PHHP also includes the Public Health & Health Professions Research Complex, which is located in the Dental Wing (Ground Floor) of the Health Science Center, and totals 15,690 square feet of dedicated research space. Assignment of researcher space is managed by the Associate Dean for Research and is reviewed on an annual basis.
