The PHHP Research Committee encourages applications for creative and flexible faculty development activities, including, but not limited to: educational experiences/conferences, work with consultants/experts, time devoted to intensive writing or creative work or activities in support of a new direction for one’s scholarly work.
FEO’s are available to all full-time faculty in the Health Sciences, IFAS and the College of Law, and other faculty who are not covered by a collective bargaining agreement. Faculty must have been hired on October 14, 2019 (minimum 3 years Full-Time service) or earlier in order to qualify.
Be sure to put September 23, 2022 @5:00PM in your calendar for the deadline to have your completed applications submitted to PHHP’s Associate Dean for Research Dr. Linda Cottler, cc’ing Zoe Martusewicz. You must submit your application to them for the Research Committee to review and support. This is NOT the October 14, 2022 deadline listed on the application form. That is the deadline for the Associate Dean for Research to send your supported application to campus.
IMPORTANT: For faculty submitting an FEO that includes travel you WILL need to provide an explanation within the application how the travel will occur with COVID-19 and provide a contingency plan in the event travel can not occur.
