The college offers seven Ph.D. programs and houses two National Institutes of Health-funded training programs, one in rehabilitation and neuromuscular plasticity and the other in physical, cognitive and mental health in older adults. The college also offers one of only two NIH-funded career development awards for rehabilitation research. Mentoring opportunities and grant writing assistance are available for faculty members.
