In addition, Dr. Arden L. Bement, Jr., Director of the National Science Foundation, delivered a speech recently to employees on how the agency intends to implement ARRA.  A summary of his remarks is available online - http://www.nsf.gov/news/news_summ.jsp?cntn_id=114483&govDel=USNSF_51.  Dr. Bement’s remarks recap the information provided by NSF in the March 18th Notice (http://www.nsf.gov/pubs/issuances/in131.jsp) with the addition that NSF will use ARRA funds to increase the number of CAREER and IGERT awards.  We will pass on further developments.
