May be used to help defray training expenses, associated staff salaries, consultant costs, equipment, research supplies, and staff travel (includes health insurance).

Tuition Formula and Recovery

NIH will award 60% of the combined costs of tuition and fees up to $16,000 and 60 % up to $21,000 for dual degree.

 

Please note that if awarded, funds cannot be rebudgeted between categories.
