FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES
Discretionary Grant Application Packages - lists grant competitions that are currently open and provides links to downloadable application packages, forms and other information you'll need to apply.
Federal Register documents - includes notices inviting applications for grant competitions, as well as funding priorities, selection criteria, regulations, and relevant workshops and meetings.
Forecast of Funding Opportunities under ED Discretionary Grant Programs - lists the dates, estimated number of awards, and funding amounts for virtually all the Department's direct grant and fellowship competitions for new awards.
Grants and Contracts Information - provides additional information including currently available contract and grant solicitations, a forecast of upcoming contract and grant opportunities, grants policy bulletins, and databases of contract and grant awards.  Also contains information about the protection of human subjects in research.

The Guide to ED Programs - is a database that provides a concise description of each of about 175 programs that ED administers, identifies who may apply, and gives the name and telephone number of the ED office to contact for more information.  Information can be accessed by topical heading, CFDA #, administering office, who may apply, education level, and by assistance.

POLICY GUIDELINES
What Should I Know About ED Grants? - offers a non-technical summary of ED's discretionary grants process (application, review, award, administration, grant closeout, and audit) and the laws and regulations that govern the process.
ED General Administrative Regulations (EDGAR) - defines the administrative requirements for managing projects funded by discretionary grants awarded by ED.
OFFICE OF SPECIAL EDUCATION AND REHABILITATIVE SERVICES (OSERS)
The Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services (OSERS) supports programs that assist in educating children with special needs, provides for the rehabilitation of youth and adults with disabilities, and supports research to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities.
REHABILITATIVE SERVICES ADMINISTRATION (RSA)
A component of OSERS, The Rehabilitative Services Administration's programs develop and implement comprehensive  and coordinated programs of vocational rehabilitation, supported employment, and independent living, for individuals with disabilities, through services, training, research and economic opportunities, in order to maximize their employability, independence, and integration into the workplace and the community.
The RSA Training Program - provides grants to colleges and universities to give scholarships to students interested in careers in the public rehabilitation program.  It also provides grants to maintain and upgrade the skills of staff working in state vocational (VR) agencies and community rehabilitation programs that provide services to those agencies.  For more details, review the Guide to Careers, Scholarships and Grant Opportunities in the General Information section of the website.  Additionally, you will find a listing of Current Grantees sorted by categories including Long-Term Training (has multiple sub-categories), Comprehensive System of Personnel Development, Continuing Education, Special Topics, Training of Interpreters for Deaf Individuals, and Special Capacity Building Grants.

NATIONAL INSTITUTE ON DISABILITY AND REHABILITATION RESEARCH (NIDRR)
The National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR), a component of OSERS, provides leadership and support for a comprehensive program of research related to the rehabilitation of individuals with disabilities.  All of our programmatic efforts are aimed at improving the lives of individuals with disabilities from birth through adulthood. 
The NIDRR Program Directory Database is compiled by the National Rehabilitation Information Center (NARIC). NARIC functions as NIDRR’s library, providing the rehabilitation community with information and referral services to help locate pertinent research related to specific areas of expertise. The Directory lists nearly 300 projects funded by NIDRR and includes contact names and information, a project abstract, and links to related resources. You can browse by research priority and project type, or by keywords and subject searches.  Also includes descriptions and examples for each of the search fields.
Calendar of NIDRR Project Events - This calendar of events highlights conferences, workshops, presentations and other events sponsored by projects funded through the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR).
