Dr. Dede’s research interests include mild traumatic brain injury, specifically sports related concussion. This line of research focuses on using neuropsychological tests to investigate the acute and long-term impact of sports related concussion on cognitive and emotional functioning in adolescents and adults. This data is also being used to advise athletic personnel on when it may be safe for the athlete to return to competition.
